In 2017 Hospice at Home started its Raad Ny Foillan Challenge walks around the Isle of Man to help raise funds to provide specialist palliative nurses and home hospice care for local residents.
This initiative was so successful that three subsequent Challenges took place. Now we are embarking on a new challenge!
The Hospice at Home Warden’s Walk Challenge
All 13 Warden’s Walks in the Isle of Man are being undertaken. We are over half way through now but come and join us for the rest of the walks!
Walks will take place on the last Sunday of each month and, unless otherwise stated, all walks will set off at 10am.
Walks are graded as Easy – Muscle Loosener, Moderate – Muscle Stretcher, and Strenuous – Muscle Builder. Distances range from 4km to 12.5km.
Good hiking boots, wind & rain proof gear and adequate levels of fitness are essential! All walks are weather dependent; walkers will need to review our dedicated Warden’s Walks WhatsApp group an hour before the scheduled starting time for any changes. Contact details below.
Sign-on Fee
To register as an individual walker the fee is £15 per person (*£7.50 for students aged 18 and under).
Registration as a corporate entity cost £500 and covers up to 10 named participants.
Fees per Walk
£15* per person per walk, payable at our Just Giving page. We will also have a Sum Up machine at the starting venue for each walk to take late entries.
